Giovanna Gil Alves is an Uruguayan-Spanish artist who always believed that we are all born artists. The problem, however, is that society, the environment in which we live and our daily needs often distance us from that creative side within us. Since she was little, art has been her refuge and her most authentic way of expressing herself, but her artistic path has not been linear, but rather a series of discoveries, moments of courage and decisions that have allowed me to reconnect with her true passion.

She is inspired by everything that surrounds her: people, nature and everyday moments, which she transforms into shapes, colors and textures that seek to tell a story beyond the visible.

Throughout her artistic career, she seeks to perfect her technique and creative expression, participating in workshops and courses both nationally and internationally. Each learning experience has enriched her artistic vision and has allowed her to explore new ways of representing her inner world through her works.

With her Universal Collection the intent is to convey the vulnerability of the human being, addressing issues such as health, poverty, abandonment, indulgence and the difficult situation of migrants living on the streets.
Through these works, she seeks to create a deep reflection on the realities that affect the most vulnerable, exposing their suffering and the fragility that unites us as humanity.
